BIOGRAPHY OF THE FOUNDER, PRESIDENT & CEO

.

The Rev. Dr. Isaac I. Ihiasota

Retired Episcopal Church Priest, an Anglo-Catholic, and an Adjunct Professor of Political Science

Background

The Rev. Dr. Isaac I. Ihiasota, the Founder, President & CEO was ordained a Deacon in the Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion) on December 19, 1976. He was Priested on the Feast of St. Peter and St. Paul on June 29, 1978. Father Isaac received his theological education at Trinity Theological College, Umuahia, Abia State, Nigeria. He also earned a Diploma in Theology degree (Dip. Th) from the University of London, England in 1977.

In 1981, Father Isaac traveled to England to study theology and philosophy at the Chichester Theological College, an Anglo-Catholic theological college in the Church of England. He has continued to attend continuing education programs regularly at two other Anglo-Catholic theological colleges in the United Kingdom: Westcott House at Cambridge University; and St Stephen's House at Oxford University, England.

In January 1984, Father Isaac, his wife, Agatha, and their four (4) months old son, traveled to the United States to study at Michigan State University (MSU), East Lansing, Michigan. He graduated with a Dual Bachelor of Arts degree (BA) in Telecommunication and Political Science in 1986; a Master of Arts degree (MA) in Political Science in 1988; and a Doctor of Philosophy degree (PhD) in Political Science in 1994.

Short-Term Mission Trips - 1988-2017

From 1988 to 2017, Father Isaac traveled to Nigeria on short-term medical mission trips, thirteen (13) times! Each time, he traveled with donations, support and prayers of his former and present parishioners, colleagues and friends.

In 2017, Father Isaac met by accident (by providence, really) Dr. Julius Nwosu, the Founder, President & CEO of Community Healthcare Network. He persuaded Father Isaac and convinced him to join him on their first medical mission. In July 2018, they traveled together with Franklin Jr. Foundation, USA, a New York City based medical group on their first medical mission.

Father Isaac's Foundation, Inc. - April 2019

After fourteen (14) short-term medical mission trips, Father Isaac founded and formed Father Isaac's Foundation, Inc., in April 2019. The foundation, established as a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit, non-governmental, public charity organization, provides healthcare free of charge to the poor, the needy and less privileged, who have no access to primary healthcare services. It has continued to provide the humanitarian philanthropic mission work of hope, life-saving and life-giving, which he started over three decades years ago!

Current & Other Activities to Date

Father Isaac has served as a priest in several churches in the Anglican Church in Nigeria; the Anglican Church of England in the United Kingdom; and in The Episcopal Church, USA. He has also taught at several colleges and universities in the United States in Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, New Jersey, and New York.

Currently, Father Isaac is the Priest-in-Charge at Saint Stephen's Episcopal Church, Niagara Falls, and a former adjunct professor of Political Science at Niagara University, Lewiston, New York.

His Family

Father Isaac and wife, Agatha, have five (5) now grown-up children - two (2) boys and three (3) girls (one in medical school) and three (3) grandchildren.
